Next.js vs. WordPress: Who takes the lead?

The greatest inventions are the ones that simplify life, not complicate it

These are the words of Leonardo da Vinci, a man who knew that greatness lies not in complexity but in simplicity. In today’s world of technology, these words take on new meaning. Have you ever wondered why one website loads faster than communion money disappears, while another makes you stare far too often—and far too long—at spinning wheels?

Or worse, why you sometimes feel like your website knows more about you than you know about yourself?

I could keep sowing seeds of dread for a long time. Indeed… I could… But why, when I can introduce you to Next.js, which faces down evil like a superhero! In our agency, we know that in the world of websites, looks and functionality matter—as does security. We want to prove, at every turn, that simplicity and effectiveness can go hand in hand.

A quick digression. Don’t get me wrong—WordPress has its place. It’s a tool that has worked for years across many projects, offering wide customization options. It’s especially popular among those who, thanks to thousands of available plugins and themes, can add features quickly without writing that “THING”—that strange text those “programmers” write and nobody “GETS IT”. But… well, is relying on a large number of plugins really safe? Doesn’t it lead to greater management and stability issues?

Let’s get to the point—the crowd surely wants bread and circuses by now! Too many hard and bitter words have been spoken, and still no knockout.

Why is Next.js better than WordPress?

1. Speed – instant response

We live in a world where, within 3 seconds, a person can decide whether content is interesting to them. TikTok, Netflix, and Uber know this perfectly well. For these giants, Next.js—which provides lightning-fast page loading—is no stranger.

2. Security – peace of mind

What if I told you that not only will you drive faster—you’ll also drive safer? Sounds unrealistic, I know! Fortunately, the world of technology differs from the real world. WordPress doesn’t exist without plugins. A plugin is like another window you need to close in your house before leaving for a long vacation. Next.js is like a simple, airtight structure. Remember: fewer plugins, fewer problems.

3. Flexibility – full control over the project

Okay, we already know that Next.js is faster and safer… but what about looks? I won’t disappoint you when I say that here, too, Next.js crushes WordPress! Nobody likes limitations—especially when “something” is supposed to be “ours”! Next.js gives us the freedom to build exactly what we need. We don’t have to choose only between ready-made templates. Every element of the site is designed from scratch. Literally everything can be unique—just like you, my dear reader 😉

4. Scalability – grow without obstacles

One shouldn’t kick someone who’s down. But we’ve just established that limitations don’t interest us! So, for the final blow, let me ask: what if your business grows?

I don’t know about WordPress, because its creators rarely get to the point where such a question is asked of them 🙂

Next.js, on the other hand, is technology ready for growth. When your company grows, your website must keep up. Thanks to its architecture, Next.js allows you to scale sites seamlessly, regardless of the number of users. Nike, Amazon, Twitch—these Internet giants know that stability and speed are crucial to their operations. We know it too.

Why does our agency choose Next.js?

Well, the answer is simple… We want to deliver modern solutions to our clients—solutions that are fast, secure, and flexible. With Next.js, we build websites that not only look great, but above all perform. Speed, security, scalability—these are the pillars of our projects, and Next.js gives us everything we need.

We partner with companies that prefer well-tailored suits—those who simply want to stay one step ahead of the competition.

Summary

Please remember this name: Next.js. And while it may still be an empty phrase to you, for us it’s a way to make your website something more than just a pretty business card. To back up my words, I’ll add that Google loves it… And if Google loves it, then so do we! So if you want to don a tailored suit and stand out among competing sites, we invite you to work with us!
